How do I know what has infected my tree?
There are many online resources available to help you diagnose. https://purdueplantdoctor.com/ is a great resource for learning more. We are happy to help you with a diagnosis. Typically, we will ask for you to first send us pictures. That way we can do additional research if needed and consult with our entire team. Some problems are simple to identify with pictures. But for the more challenging problems, we send one of our experts out to look at the problem in person. Occasionally, for a stumper we will collect a sample and send it off to a lab for diagnosis.
Will my tree or plant have to be cut down or removed?
Removal is one option when a plant is unhealthy. We encourage homeowners to evaluate the cost of treatment with the cost of removal and possible replacement. Often treating a tree or plant is less expensive than removing them. Unfortunately, sometimes the level of infestation or problem is too extensive and removal is the best course of action. Our experts will help you evaluate the situation and select the right plan.
